Disclaimer: This is a template that will be delivered to you as an editable MS Word doc. It's filled in with great information, but is NOT location specific. We've done 90% of the heavy lifting, and the last 10% is up to you and your compliance expert.
This Cannabis Distribution Operating Plan, including Transportation is a 35-page template delivered as an editable Word doc, available for immediate download after purchase (there will be a link in your email receipt). This is geared towards California regulations, but it can be reworked for any jurisdiction. It contains industry standard information that generally only varies slightly from region to region and country to country.
This Distribution Transport Plan covers the process through which marijuana is transferred from cultivators or manufacturers to distributors, including tax collection, lab testing, basic quality assurance and all of the associated processes and protocols.
Although growers and extractors/manufacturer's would prefer to sell directly to their retail buyers, many states and jurisdictions have placed a required distribution intermediary in between them, usually to oversee tax collection and product lab testing requirements. As a response, many growers and extractors are obtaining their own distribution and/or transportation licenses. This adds complexity to their business model, but also gives them greater control over their outcomes and, in most cases, some cost savings.
All of our marijuana operating plan templates are integrated, meaning they use the same terminology, have the same format and job titles.
