"Aside from the details and organization you provide, your docs are also super valuable in educating someone getting into the game. So many newbies simply don't realize the planning that goes into a successful operation" - Ed Chrumka, Michigan

Cannabis Pesticide and Pest Management Plan
This Cannabis Pest Plan is really two plans rolled into one. For regulators, it covers the management and containment of substances that could cause harm to the workers or environment. For growers, it covers the monitoring, identification and treatment of pest issues on plants. As you might know, pest problems (both mold and bugs) are considered the biggest challenge of being a commercial cultivator. It's a labor killer to be treating infections all the time, and it's a quality and yield killer to have ongoing infections from bugs such as broad mites and root aphids. It's imperative that you DO NOT bring clones into your facility since that's where almost all infections start, and that your growers know how to identify early signs of infestations.
Another major help in controlling pest problems in a cannabis facility is to have enough flower rooms to harvest an entire room at once so the room can be sterilized floor to ceiling before the next crop is started. This is a facility design issue that is often overlooked by newbie growers. Having more small flower rooms also allows you to quarantine and destroy an infected area without losing a large percentage of your crop.
Being that I am a commercial cultivator who has managed just about every common pest problem that cannabis can get, I think you'll find this plan to be comprehensive and helpful.
